The header on the home page is simple and appealing, but not functional. It draws the user's attention but doesn't provide basic site tools and information he might expect to find near the header, such as:
- A search tool
- Contact information
- High-level site content
Currently, the site's internal pages have a different header -- which does provide a search tool and high-level content. A more functional header could be introduced on the home page and used consistently throughout the site.
