Sole UI designer and usability person for an enterprise software company. Responsible for the UI of Guidewire's three web-based applications and their underlying platform. In cahoots with my husband; conceived, designed, and built an online gift registry for friends and families. I did all interaction & graphic design for the site; also did the bulk of the front-end implementation.

Manager, Research and Usability (2000 - 2001)
Initiated, planned, and executed research studies to ensure that Kana products met and exceeded user needs. Drew on methods such as field observation, semi-structured interviews, surveys, paper-based prototype testing, and usability testing.

Designed and wrote off-the-shelf classroom training programs that teach leadership skills in the workplace. Applied an iterative, user-centered design process requiring a high degree of collaboration and customer involvement. Course topics included leading meetings, handling change, managing priorities, coaching, giving constructive feedback, and providing excellent customer service.
